What does the Bottom Spring Kit do?

This add-on keeps the bottom warp threads just as neatly aligned as the top ones.

It ensures even spacing and parallel tension.

And it gives you greater control and precision while weaving.

 

What’s included?

Each bottom spring kit contains:

• two brass nuts
• one U-shaped metal guide
• a set of four springs (3, 5, 5.5 and 7 dents per cm)

Which looms is it compatible with?

The kit fits all Mirrix looms with threaded rods, starting from the Saffron model and up.

Attaching the spring is easy, and it stays firmly in place during weaving.

Pro tip: finer warp spacing

Want more control over your warp spacing? Instead of placing a thread in every spiral, try placing one in every second or third. This gives you wider spacing and better grip for your design.
