Extra Shedding Device with Standard Shed

This is an additional shedding device for your Mirrix loom for those

• who originally didn’t buy one or
• want a second shedding device want for their loom.

By adding a second shedding device to your Mirrix, you can use techniques for weaving carpets, such as for example a twill weave.

You will receive the shedding device system, a set of clips (if necessary), a handle and an Allen key.

Do you require a shedding device WITH or WITHOUT wooden clips?

• If you already have this on your loom you can, you can purchase an additional shedding device WITHOUT clips .
• If you have purchased a Mirrix loom without a shedding device but have small clips on your loom without space for the shedding device, you must purchase the additional shedding device WITH clips . If you purchase the shedding device as an additional separation device , you must also purchase the one WITH clips.

This is how you place your wooden clips on your loom:

• Slide the copper rod upwards and remove it from the screw part.
• Remove with a fine pair of pliers the tubes located at the bottom in the copper pipes
• Remove the old clamps (if there were already wooden clamps on the loom).
• Slide the new wooden clips onto the copper sidebars.
• Place the metal sleeves back into the copper side rods.
• Put the two parts of the loom back together.
